Support for application/package management
Please add support for managing homebrew and locally installed packages/applications. Note that this is different from being able to install Monarch from homebrew. In this case, I am referring to be able to manage homebrew operations like:
Searching for a formula/cask
Listing/uninstalling/reinstalling an existing formula/cask
Upgrading all formulae/casks
In case of local applications, this can involve features like:
Showing application in finder
Uninstalling the app
Killing/restarting the app
Log in to comment and vote

I originally considered this several versions ago. I understand that apps and plugins/workflows that do this do get installed a lot. Do people actually end up using them daily or weekly? Are you a developer by chance?
This is something I don't mind, and would probably use myself if I had it in Monarch, but I'm wondering how other people feel?

While I am not a developer, I do work in the technology domain managing product teams and that may be why this is so valuable for me. But if I were in your place, I'd deprioritize this idea compared to some other ones that will appeal to a majority of user types.
I really do hope that you build some kind of a plugin/extension framework soon so that every desired function doesn't need to be built as a core feature. It will also give developers enough time to start porting over what they have built on Raycast or Alfred.

Yes there are some things that are not as big a priority, and also there are some things that should not be done as a plugin. Monarch is still missing a few core components to be a strong tool for work.
It's actually not going to follow in the footsteps of launchers before it, though it will borrow inspiration from them. What I want to do with extensions is actually quite different than Raycast. I am hoping that people will understand.
But yes, at any given moment, things are prioritized based on how many people would use it
