Quitting an application with delete or backspace

Instead of having to type “qt” to quit transmission it would be nice if I could also click delete or backspace when on the app in the search field to quit it regardless if it’s on screen or not. So any app that I have in the background I could just type it in monarch and select it with mouse or arrow keys and press backspace or delete to close it instead of having to select another item or having to type more by typing quit before it.
