Indexing of applications in /User/name/Applications

Hi! I have a number of packages installed via nix & home-manager. By default, these do not get installed in the common /Applications directory, but are done on a per user basis - i.e /User/name/Application/home-manager

Seeings as monarch is capable of indexing applications stored in sub-folders of /Applications already, I imagine it should be straight-forward to add a way to specify additional paths to be indexed.

    Yeah let me look into this, I probably should update the algorithm to be able to find apps in those folders actually and then as a backup allow further customization for additional app paths to be indexed. Thanks!

      Hi Small update on this. It would appear that the issue was not that the folder was not being indexed but symlinks in those folders were not being followed/indexed.

      Changing the home-manager config to copyApps instead of linkApps allows for monarch to find the apps.

      This seems to be a common issue with spotlight and symlinked apps as well. However, i know that raycast doesnt seem to have this problem.
