Holding tab after opening monarch to reopen last closed instance

When you open monarch and press tab it switches to a different mode, but would be nice if I held down tab for it to switch to the last open instanced with that exact item that was searched or note being open. Or it could just apply to the search item. Currently if I open monarch and type in asd (just for example) and then click off screen (monarch disappears) and then I reopen monarch it shows default empty search field just like I want it, but in case I would want to go to the last position/instance of what was written or I was doing on it, pressing the up arrow does not show asd it only shows last opened app search. So in this case if I was at the empty search field and held down tab, asd with the search results would pop up, it would add a quick way of instantly continuing from where I last was as an option just by holding down tab for a second instead of just pressing it.
