tl;dr: I want to be able to search for <FOLDER>/…/<FILE>
Long: I sometimes end up with many folders containing identical or similar structures (either Obsidian habits, downloaded application logs, or just like git repositories). I would love to be able to get to a file by providing a partial path. For example, I might end up with
/Users/me/foo/logs/<some long or annoying string>/bar.txt
/Users/me/foo2/logs/<another long or annoying string>/bar.txtJust searching for bar.txt works fine when the number of these is small. However if the number is large (e.g. log files over a longer period) this can end up ineffective. The other option, standard navigation, becomes clunky if I don’t know or don’t want to type some intermediary part of the path (imagine either a UUID or a full datestamp).
The usage pattern I’m imagining for this example is I can type foo/bar.txt and foo2/bar.txt and Monarch does partial path matching to surface these files.
