When you say "smart links" are you talking about Superlinks? Can you elaborate a bit more? I definitely want to prioritize being able to consume APIs because that flexibility and power is great for many reasons!

Exactly, superlinks, sorry about that.
I think if you start with support only for GET will be a huge thing, for example I can consume an. AI API, or a Stock API or even Private API's from work!
You would probably have to define which field / level on the json we should use as the param for the query inside monarch. Maybe show the response in an interface where we can select it? So many possibilities

This would be immensely useful, at least until a broader plugin/extension framework is in place. I have seen conversations about integrating Obsidian or Things 3, but a feature like this can allow users like me to even add support for so many other tools that may never get official support.
